The American Bar Association Law Student Division announced that SMU Dedman School of Law 2L student Haley Taylor Schlitz was selected as one of the 2021-2022 ABA Law Student Division Editorial Board Members.
"I am excited to be selected to serve as a member of the Law Student Division Editorial Board. The ABA Law Student Division is an important voice for law students across the nation. To help shape the discussion of the Division's blog and magazine for the next year is truly an honor" said Haley Taylor Schlitz.
The ABA Law Student Division is the largest member organization for US law students and has over 100,000 members. The Editorial Board of the ABA Law Student Division oversees and writes content for the Student Lawyer blog and the Division’s flagship magazine, Student Lawyer.
Student Lawyer‘s circulation reaches over 60,000 – more than half of the entire US law student population. The award-winning Student Lawyer blog was named an ABA Blawg 100 (under the name Before the Bar), and it reaches tens of thousands of visitors every month.
Few, if any, school law student editorial boards have such a wide-reaching audience and national recognition and prestige.
Haley Taylor Schlitz is 18 year old second year law student at SMU Dedman School of Law and the reigning Miss Tarrant County Outstanding Teen.
